Ultra Jarro-Dophilus is a potent 50 billion CFU probiotic supplement with 10 beneficial bacteria strains in it.

A 3-star review from the Vitacost website says:
"I got this based on the fact that it had 10 different strains and 50 billion but it has not done much for me. Guess not every product works for everyone. Its not cheap so I will finish this bottle not order the next one." - 10/23/15
Some negative verified-purchase reviews from Amazon say:
"Couldn't feel a difference when taking it. Wasn't happy." - 6/22/15
"I bought Ultra Jarrow-Dophilus at Whole Foods with the idea to help my 16 year old daughter better digest the food and get rid of bloating that she was constantly suffering of in the last couple of years. The product was refrigerated when I bought it and I kept it refrigerated, thus I believe that the content was as fresh as it should be. My daughter took one capsule a day, for six days. After first couple of days, she felt some minor stomach upsets, but we thought that this should be a normal reaction at the initial time, so she continued taking the capsules. On day 6, she started feeling very nauseous and developed a severe diarrhea, which lasted for several days. She lost 10 pounds (and she was already skinny), thus this whole experience was very unpleasant and dangerous for her. I believe that the dosage of 40 billion bacterias per capsule was too strong for her. I recommend taking extra care with this product since it can be dangerous." 3-30-11

I believe that it is a quality-made, high-potency, multi-strain supplement that uses documented strains from reputable suppliers. Without knowing the numbers of each strain in the product, it is not possible to speculate on specific effects beyond Jarrow’s claims to “restore, protect and maintain a balanced intestinal flora."
